Biography
Areas: Gender and Performance, Religion and Performance, Embodiment, Latin American and Latino Theatre.
Gwendolyn has published book chapters, and articles and reviews in journals such as Theatre Journal, TDR, Dance Research Journal and is the former managing editor of Women & Performance: A Journal of Feminist Theory. Her article on Maria Irene Fornes is forthcoming in Theatre Topics, Fall of 2009. She has also taught at the Gallatin School of Individualized Study and at Naropa University. She was recently elected the Vice President of Conference for ATHE (Association for Theatre in Higher Education) for the 2011 Conference to be held in Los Angeles. She has also taught yoga asana in various locations in New York City and nationally over the last ten years.
