Biography
Dr. Jonas is the co-author of The Report on the Status of Women in Theatre, which documented representation and analyzed the influence of the omission of women from theatre history and co-edited Dramaturgy and American Theatre, an anthology representing the state of the art. For over twenty years, she has taught (as well as adapted and directed) classical texts in contemporary production at universities such as Princeton, Connecticut College, and various S.U.N.Y. and C.U.N.Y. campuses. She lectures regularly at colleges, theatres and service organizations on classics, dramaturgy, public funding and representation issues.
