Biography

Paul has taught acting at Barnard College, the Experimental Theatre Wing of NYU, New York School for Film and Television and is currently teaching in the BFA and MFA programs at the acting conservatory at Rutgers University. He has done workshops and residences at various East coast colleges. He recently acted in the Irene Fornes play Mud at the Signature Theater aas well as performing in a number of pieces by the Wooster Group. As co-director of the Big Dance Theater Company he directed Fassbinder’s Bremen Freedom, Horvath’s Don Juan Comes Back from the War, Tristan Tzara’s Gas Heart, Mac Wellman’s Girl Gone as well as co-directing with Annie-B Parson, a number of original dance/theatre works. He is currently at work on a dance/theatre adaptation of Mark Twain’s Mysterious Stranger.
