Biography
Production Manager. Leighton was Scenery Shop Supervisor for NYU’s Department of Drama from 1989-94 and is now in his seventh year as Technical Director. Some freelance projects have included scenic work on The Macy’s Fourth of July Fireworks as well as The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, design and construction of The Sweet Water Tavern, in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. He has been involved on numerous technical design/technical direction and fabrication projects for Off-Broadway and Off-Off Broadway production, trade shows and film. His work has also included cabinetry/furniture design and fabrication for residential interiors.
